Birmingham, AL - Regions Field - August 19, 2026.
Nitro Circus rolled into Regions Field and turned the ballpark into a summer launch pad. It was slick to see Birmingham fill the stands for something loud, strange, physical, and genuinely fun. The kind of night that makes the city feel awake before fall even gets here.

The show is built on a simple idea: send it. FMX, BMX, scooter, skate, big ramps, oddball contraptions, and a crowd that understands the assignment. Nitro Circus promoted the 2026 tour as more than 100 stunts with 20 athletes, and the Birmingham stop gave that whole thing a proper Southern night at the ballpark.
What mattered most was not just the stunts. It was the proof of life. Regions Field had families, kids, riders, camera phones, and that first hint that Birmingham is starting to gear up for fall. People showed up happy. The city looked good with lights on it.

There is something useful about events like this. They remind Birmingham that culture does not have to sit still. It can be a packed stadium, a ramp, a bad idea executed beautifully, and a crowd willing to look up.

From watching the crew on YouTube growing up to finally seeing the show in person at Regions Field.
I grew up watching Nitro Circus on YouTube—riders launching motorcycles, bicycles, and just about anything else they could find from ramps that seemed impossibly high. The videos were chaotic, funny, and completely fearless. Back then, it never crossed my mind that I would eventually see that same energy unfold in front of me, right here in Birmingham.
When Nitro Circus arrived at Regions Field, the ballpark felt completely different. The baseball diamond had been transformed into a massive action-sports course, surrounded by ramps, landing pads, lights, and fire. As the stands filled, the anticipation grew with them.
Then the show started.
Every jump brought the crowd to its feet. Kids pointed toward the sky, families cheered together, and thousands of people held their phones up, trying to capture something that moved almost too quickly to believe. It was loud, slick, exciting, and genuinely fun.
For me, the night felt full circle. I had spent years watching these riders through a screen, and now I was standing inside Regions Field with my camera, seeing Nitro Circus live for the first time in the Magic City.
The best part was seeing Birmingham show up for it. The ballpark was alive with happy people enjoying something different together. As summer begins giving way to fall, the night felt like a reminder that this city is ready for more—more events, more excitement, and more reasons to fill the stands.
